We love Sugar High! My girls love the pastries. Even when my mom comes to town, she loves eating there. The staff is always friendly!
Great experience at this cafe during Art on the Square. They were well-staffed and well-stocked. My friend and I stopped in so I could use the restroom. They have the nicest restroom! Victoria's Secret body spray and some hand lotion were available, and the restroom was very clean. I wasn't in the mood for sweets, so while my friend enjoyed a muffin, I ordered a veggie quesadilla. It was HUGE, twice the size I could have eaten, for a very nice price. The staff were all super friendly and working hard. Delicious food and a great atmosphere.
That vegan breakfast burrito is so good! Thank you for having options for us! The employees at this place have also never been anything short of pleasant or accomodating every time I have called or come in.
I had a lavender frappe and my husband had a latte which were delicious. At first my husband’s latte was cold however they fixed it right away and the owner gave our fur baby a dog cookie which she absolutely loved! Normally she is extremely picky and won’t eat most dog treats but she couldn’t get enough of this one. We will definitely stop there every time we are downtown Belleville!
I can’t brag on this shop owner enough. The custom cake was so beautiful!! …and then I realized I sent her ‘happy birthday’ instead of ‘graduation.’ She graciously fixed it for me. Then after re-confirming the name, we misunderstood each other, and she sweetly made a fix AGAIN. I embarrassingly chewed up her busy Saturday morning making me happy, and she wouldn’t even accept a tip. Of course, the (cookie) cake tasted Amazing, but no one at the party was surprised- after telling this story several times, we found that many of our guests loved this shop anyway. Also, the coffee was delicious!
My gluten free goodie was so delicious! Coffee was a bit on the sweeter side. But they were so fantastic on our field trip! Thank you so much for the tour and the positive attitude your employees had towards our students and staff! If you go when busy space is tight which is my only true ''complaint".
This was my first time trying this place out in the moment that I walked in I was greeted with a smile, given the special of the day, and told about the unique menu. The atmosphere and the aroma was so welcoming and sweet! I loved the options and was not disappointed by what I ordered. I’ll be back!!
Excellent customer service, I enjoyed being greeted authentically upon entering and exiting this establishment. They have tons of options. Cutely decorated, and my waffle sub sandwich was top notch. The ladies room also smells lovely. I wouldn’t mind returning to support this business. Thanks!
I make it a point to visit Sugar High Cafe regularly and I absolutely love this spot. They have the best chocolate croissants around. Make sure you get them warmed just slightly. The coffee is great too. I have tried the donuts as well as the Monte Cristo breakfast croissant sandwich, and everything has been delicious. The owner is very nice and you always see the same friendly staff, which says a lot about the business. They are very accommodating. As a teacher, I try to swing in whenever my schedule allows, and it is always worth it. We have brought field trips here with our autism classroom and the team was super sweet, hopefully you got our mailed thank you "cookies" 💗. They had fresh cookies ready for us, which was such a nice gesture. I cannot recommend this place enough. Just a heads up, it is a little small so it can get crowded fast, and supplies can be limited. Make sure you call ahead. The owner is very accommodating and will help you get your goodies. Thank you Sugar High Cafe for being such a wonderful spot. I will keep coming back as often as I can!
Found this cafe/bakery/coffee shop on TikTok and I am so happy my brother and I ventured to Belleville to try it out. We were able to find parking on the street, but there is several public parking lots to choose from. Sugar High is right on the main drag in downtown Belleville. As soon as you walk in, the atmosphere is fun and friendly. We were greeted right away and offered a menu. They also had drink menus on the wall as well as specials on chalk boards. We decided to get some breakfast and sweets. My brother got a sausage, bacon and cheese bagel and I got the breakfast burrito. They toasted the bagel and because my brother hates eggs, substituted the eggs for more meat. Simple, but delicious. My burrito was big! Stuffed full with eggs, cheese, yellow and red peppers, jalapenos, sausage and bacon. It came with a side of pico and sour cream. The burrito was also toasted which was a unexpected plus. It was filling and sooo good. Only thing I would have added was some potatoes and hot sauce, but nevertheless, I gobbled it down. They have bottled drinks, specialty drinks, dirty sodas, frappes, energy mixes and even some boozy types. I got the iced cookie butter coffee. It was good, but I wished it had more cookie butter in it. Personal taste as I like more sweet. We also purchased some sweets. We got 2 s'mores cookies and 2 of the stuffed chocolate croissants. Both were big and so good. We could only eat half of each at a time. As a bonus, they also had adorable doggie treats at the register. I had to get some cookies for my pups! Overall, I would highly recommend High Bakery and Cafe. The customer service itself was top notch. Loved the old fashioned feel of the place. It is nestled right in the middle of some amazing shops bars and restaurants. Worth the drive :)
